About The Album
‘ORANGE’ is our follow-up original record to our debut album “When We’re Together”. 5 years had passed since the release of original material, while we had been playing countless shows all over Europe, have moved to England and learnt some important life lessons.
In comparison to our first album, still written in our teens, ORANGE gives a more mature, sometimes satirical, yet overall still light-hearted approach to topics we all deal with: Love, community, doubt, the past and future, and the generally unsettling direction society seems to be taking.
While staying true to our passion for melodic, quirky songwriting, plenty of harmonies, a very “60s” sound and twangy guitar licks, this album branches out into new territories and incorporates very psychedelic but also earthy, bluesy, sometimes even jazzy tones.

I see in today’s news your vinyl has gone out of this world, it would seem the sun has created it’s own version of an orange splash ??
It’s been a long time for me to comment on this album Orange. Lots of great songs, but one really stands out for me is Close to You. At first I thought it was going to be a Carpenters song because one of their songs has the same title. Yet The MonaLisa Twins Version is totally different. It’s a bit like The Beatles “This Boy” with close vocal harmonies and guitar strumming and a bit of a guitar solo at the very beginning. I love their songs and musical style and all of us not only who love The Beatles, but also the dedication both Mona & Lisa put into their work. Guess we should include Rudi & Michaela who strongly support both Mons & Lisa!
I just read what you 2 wrote. That is really nice. Your eating habits paid off mega. You both look great. Love the Orange CD.
I love the Orange CD. Great job girls.
