Here, There & Everywhere – Early Access

Here, There and Everywhere - The Beatles Cover Thumbnail

Official Release Date: 6th October 2019

To lead a better life, I need my love to be here …

… what a love song. Spine-tinglingly beautiful, capturing the feeling of romance and love like nothing else in a matter of less than 3 minutes. How did Lennon/McCartney manage to do that time and time again? Whatever magic they were using, we wanted to try covering the song ourselves and as always decided to post it here in the MLT Club before sharing it with the world.

We could call it “one of our favourite Beatles songs ever”, but we have probably said this about every Beatles cover we ever posted. But it’s true 😉 Whenever we start working on a new Beatles track we can’t help but appreciate their music on a deeper and deeper level, as if that was even possible.

We made the video as a birthday surprise for Steve from Miami, our biggest supporter and dear friend, earlier this year. You might remember us honoring him in our cover of This Boy for sending us so many guitars! Anyway, he insisted on sharing his birthday song with the whole MLT family, so we hope you enjoy it 🙂

Stay groovy,
Mona & Lisa

  1. Beautiful. Vocals are amazing. I wish you were Here, not There. But, you can’t be Everywhere.

  2. This one has to be one of the best love songs ever. When you sing it, I try to harmonize along with it. Can help it……it is just so infectious. Mike.

  3. It’s no surprise that this is one of John’s favorite Beatles songs, and one that Paul is most proud of writing. Paul has said that he was doing a “Marianne Faithful” impression when he sung it. Maybe today he’d be doing a “MonaLisaTwins” impression! The key changes are so subtle that it needs the most delicate and precise treatment for it to work. Something MonaLisa Twins do with apparent ease. The drums and base here are perfectly subtle as well as using the Casino and 12 string Ric honoring the original. The result is just glorious. I’m listening to this song over and over again, it exudes love. ????‍♀️?‍??

  4. Well… I’m floored! You have produced another incredible cover of one of my favorite Beatles songs!!! Every bit as good as the original too!!! LOVE IT!!!

  5. This is a wonderful version absolutely love it and the video as well, You can be proud of the effort Mona and Lisa.

  6. Some decades ago (before you were born) I record this song in a cassette recorder. I used 2 devices. one I recorded the guitar and my voice, then I used the other to play what I’ve recorded before to recorded the other voices. The problem was that the 2 devices had a little difference of speed in their player. So when I heard what I recorded before it looked like a bunch of scary ghosts singing out of tune. My voice is not the same than when I was younger, but maybe I try to record this song once again, inspired by you two. Sorry if the explanation became a little confused. I had some English issues.

  7. Another home run. Beautiful song beautifully done. Thanks for your wonderful music.

  8. One of the most beautiful Beatles song.. two of the most talented and pretty singers .. wonderful video as always.. I loved the close shots.. thanks girls for one more magical moment ?❤

  9. More flute please! ??

  10. As usual, you’ve captured the song and made it your own. People live hearing your music on the radio when I play it, hoping that it’s generated more sales for you! <3

  11. That was goosebump good. You two did the song very well…..as always….you even played the flute again!!!!! The song is often overlooked since there were so many other great songs written by the Beatles. But, this one from Paul is one of the best love songs ever written. But, then so is Something and If I Fell and many others by the Beatles. I have a strange history with the song…..it was never released as a single, so in the states it was never heard on AM radio. But, often I would hear the melody played at various places and wondered “What is that song????”. Then when I finally got a copy of Revolver, I figured out where that wonderous melody originated. Again, you two covered it so well and thank you!!!!!!

  12. How many times can you die and go to heaven??? This is the sweetest, softest, most tender and angelic song you have done yet… and that is really saying something. This proves once again there is no one else that can compare with you two angels. We owe quite a debt of gratitude to Steve from Miami for sharing this most beautiful gift with the rest of the world. Thank you so much!!!

  23. Absolutely one of my favourite Beatle songs to play – with my acoustic and fingerpicking through it, and you two just knocked my socks off. Seriously, they’re around here somewhere… or there…. I could swear you singing this song for just me; I don’t know how you manage to keep that feel with everything you do. Whatever that magic is, I hope you never lose it. Mona, I am glad to see you are sticking with learning the flute, maybe we can hear you do that piece at the end of “Hide Your Love Away” sometime soon? You two are the greatest!
