“Live at the Cavern Club” Pre-order and Streaming starting next week!
Over the past months we have started uploading videos from our 100th and last Cavern Club residency performance (watch them here). Since the first clip has gone online many of you have asked about a CD of the whole concert. It will probably come as no surprise to you that this was something we’ve had planned all along and that’s why we had taped the full show back in 2016!
We always wanted to release it “down the line”, and with live music being put on hold so brutally for the foreseeable future, we felt we’ve just reached the end of that line 😉
“Live at the Cavern Club” is coming out very soon!
The official release date will be early November (exact date to be confirmed) but we will release the whole album to the MLT Club Jukebox for streaming next Friday, the 16th of October. That’s also when you will be able to put in your pre-orders for signed copies!
Along with it we will also release a new poster and button set, and we will show you all of that in next Tuesday’s post.
The CD will be a double album of 28 songs which comes to a total of nearly 90 minutes of music! A mixture of lots of Beatles and 60’s covers and also some originals.
Just like the videos, the CD recording is from the same 100th and final show of our 2-year residency at the Cavern Club in Liverpool from October 8, 2016 – with Callum Williams on bass and backing vocals and Charlie Skeggs on drums. We were having a damn good time on stage that night, we hope it shows! 🙂

Finally, we also want to talk about our next original album. We’ve made great progress in the last few months, and we had planned its release for the end of this year. But with all the unexpected twists and turns of 2020, when it was getting obvious that it would be impossible to finish it in time, we changed around our release schedule. “Live at the Cavern Club” is now going out first for you to have enough music and videos to watch over the long winter months ahead.

This is such good news! You shine on stage and I can’t wait to here these songs in full concert mode! Plus you mentioned that this was recorded in October 8 which is me and my wife Cindy’s wedding anniversary, so that sort of makes this even cooler! Also knowing that a new original album is in the works makes me smile! What a great way to put an end to this crazy year!

You definitely caught me by surprise with the album announcement (again). You can count on my preorder.
You two gals and Callum and Charlie all look like you were having a ball that night, as did the audience. I enjoy listening to the music, but the fact that everyone is having fun is catching, even just watching the video. It would have been great to have been there.
Of course, I’m still very curious about what’s coming up on the new original album.

Of course being Friday I always keep checking my email for the next MLT Club post…new video.. on the turntable…or whatever….so as I’m driving along and I get that alert notice I see that it’s the MLT I’ve been waiting for…can’t read while I’m driving you know so I now I’m hoping for another traffic jam …thanks to all the road construction going on..so I can open it up see what song is coming this week…boy was I surprised and so very happy as I’m one of those people that was hoping for …eventually.. for a Live From The Cavern Club CD….but WOW a double disc and that means that eventually all those live videos will be released…THANK YOU GIRLS SO MUCH…this is gonna be Great !
