Private Gig in Vienna – Photos

To wrap up the live-show photo albums of 2013, here are some that our friend Thomas (Fuxi) Fuchs took during a private gig we played back in Vienna.

We remember this as a fun, relaxed night. We don’t do privately-booked shows much these days but back in Austria we played wherever and whenever we could. We wanted to collect as much experience and “stage-time” as possible, with each show making us a little more confident and the band sound a little tighter.

You can spend as much time in the rehearsal room as you want but nothing replaces the lessons you learn while you’re on stage, with the adrenaline pumping and your palms sweating 🙂

  1. Know what ladies? This would make a great poster. I’ll want one. Peace be

  2. “nothing replaces the lessons you learn while you’re on stage, with the adrenaline pumping and your palms sweating”

    Hold that thought.

  3. I am truly hoping you can find a gig here in Wien and I didn’t realize you were in 2013 !! I wish I knew back then ! So …. I keep hoping and asking; any chance ? Of course you’d be adored !!

    1. Back in 2012 and 2013 we played sooo many gigs in and around Vienna. It’s where we grew up and where we put our first live band together 🙂 We’re sure we’ll play some shows back home one day! At the moment we’re still taking a break from touring in general to focus on our new album and other various studio and video projects. But we’re looking forward to seeing you at one of our shows in the future. 😉

  4. AWESOME pictures! Wow! Private gig. Lucky people. ?❤

  5. A big compliment to your friend Thomas (Fuxi) Fuchs, he has a good eye and a quick finger!
And you both are looking good as always – love these pics!

  6. Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh Vienna.

    Looks like a great night.

  7. What fabulous stage action shots, and your wonderful facial expressions up there alone shines a beautiful mood! It looks like those very familiar black and white Lisa’s Gretsch Duo Jet, Mona’s Rickenbacker 360, and Papa Rudi’s Red Hofner Bass (I presume) has served you very well over the years trough many, many shows. They must be magnificent reliable work horses. Thanks!

    1. Sorry Mona! Correction, yours of course is the Rickenbacker 350v63!

  8. Live Vibe Real Feel Deal…. Thanks for sharing this batch… Can definitely sense the live action gig as though I was actually there witnessing the gigs in person… Thomas F is a Fab photographer and captured your stage performances and essences perfectly??????????️??
