We hope everyone had a fab start into the New Year and that you haven’t caught yourself writing 2018 instead of 2019 too many times yet.
We’ve been taking a little bit of a breather over the last few days to let the Christmas business ring out, and the New Year ring in with some good ol’ New Year’s resolutions and mapping out the upcoming months ahead.
We’re also starting to get back to everyone in the “Ask MLT” Forum again. Thanks for the many interesting questions that keep coming in, we’ll answer as many as we can over the next few days.
Before we completely miss the season of when posting wintery Christmassy photos is acceptable, we want to share a few snaps of when we filmed the video for “Leise Rieselt der Schnee“.

Just love those cute snow teddy bears but hope you two haven’t deserted lampibampi!
I notice that Lisa is playing a double cutaway Gretsch. It appears to have the double mute pads like the 6122’s did back in the ’60’s. Is it new or have you just been hiding it away from the cameras? 🙂

Why that’s what you call a Chet Atkins Country Gentleman by Gretsch. George Harrison played one also in the early days of the Beatles. I think he played it mainly for stage performances rather than in the studio. The one Lisa’s playing looks like a fairly new one.
